WILDFLOWER BLOG
These written gems have been channelled from as far as the galactic star nebula birthing dusts to the close to home eco- systems.
Organic blog written pieces, that inspires the creative imagination from soul seed to insight.
And hopefully, in turn, will inspire the Temple Lah reader.
Inspiration
When you meet the world of responsibility as childhood moves into adulthood and well…. adulthood moves into responsibility, you learn pretty quickly that freedom is the leverage to offset a compressed sombre mood.
Everybody needs a sweet spot. Allowing the mind to unravel and simply wonder. A place to connect and be free.
Does anything in your life feel left out on the sidelines? Are you fixed in a call of life duty that leaves your passion in waiting? Should you be concerned about the sideline? Is time really running out?
Wellness
To nurture and grow is the maintenance required to restore the equilibrium we so desire.
I invite you to consider the new year cycle focusing on nourishment, action, release, enjoyment. Contemplating what you currently do physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually to release routinely.
If you didn’t already know, we as humans do in fact house an inner tree. A vibrant nerve system that can be played much like a piano to tone our internal wellbeing barometer.
It is that time already where we have the perfect opportunity to enter the new year with clarity and confidence that our best life is only a blink away.
Art as Medicine
A reflective exploration of how art viewing can become a powerful practice for increased self-awareness, intuition and healing through meaning-making. We learn Aesthetic Meditation engagement through gallery experiences can evolve beyond observation into opportunities for creative reflection, emotional integration, and deeper connection to the imagination.
Can you remember a time when you were emotionally choked up and words could not escape? Or, you couldn’t find the words to explain what can sometimes be the unexplainable? Art Therapy will meet you in the unspoken and assist in transmuting a loss of words into a new story reflecting your authentic truth.
As adults we are constantly met with life’s complexities, alarm clocks and to do lists. There is always something to do, or some place to be, right? So how do we know when the busyness of life becomes too stressful, anxious and unbalanced?
It’s always a blessing when you spontaneously come across a Yantra. Yantras are sacred geometrical designs that emit cosmic frequencies of the highest order.
Artist View
Maybe our role as artists isn't to predict which works deserve a life, but simply to give them the chance to find one.
After all, we're creating for an audience we haven't met yet, and perhaps even for a future version of ourselves.
As I move into a new decade next year and reflect on the past ten years with Temple Lah, I see how a non-negotiable dedication has allowed the work to endure and continue.
On 2 February 2025 a new term entered the collective consciousness on Twitter, introduced by former Tesla Director and open AI Co founder Andrej Karpathy. Vibe Code dropped into the coding scene as a concept that captures the bridge between….
Sometimes all you need is a change of scenery and a little ambience.
Art and Muse
Chris Cornell's powerful notes, technical vocal ability, emotional expression and sheer raw power would become the juice that helped define Soundgarden’s unique sound and walk on stage as the rock god, he so effortlessly embodied.
Chris Cornell’s songwriting would go on to span a diverse catalogue of more than 200 songs across Soundgarden, his side project Temple of the Dog, his solo career and, later, Audioslave becaming one of the most distinctive and respected voices and songwriters to emerge from the grunge era.
Amid this familiar pop culture was a strong shade of artistic brilliance weaving its way through this era, one darker, stranger and infinitely more mysterious. A filmmaker named David Lynch quietly entered our suburban lounge rooms through the weekly television series Twin Peaks. Every episode felt unlike anything we had seen before: mystery without easy answers, beauty entangled with terror, and a dreamlike world where nothing was quite what it seemed.
By stripping away the details, Piet Mondrian believed a beauty in harmony was revealed that could move not only the artist deeply but the viewer also. A revealing of universal truths through extreme simplicity, geometry and balance.
Deborah Harry entered the world with a Cancer Sun — not as innocence, but as a memory already formed. Her Sun, Saturn, and South Node also gather in this sign, creating a soul steeped in emotional knowing. Guest astrologer and author, Kylie Jane.
Basquiat drew from a vast range of influences—art, music, culture, and neo-spirituality. His drive is a defining trait, one that deserves both recognition and inspiration. There’s an unwavering focus to his work, a sense of purpose rooted in the Black community, and a rare ability to stay in flow with the moment. Where life meets art, and art paints life.
Kandinsky emphasized contrast and harmony as tools for creating rhythm and movement, much like in musical composition. He saw colors as relational forces, where the interaction of color, shape, and negative space produces the “music” of the painting.
As Mama’s Gun reaches its 25th anniversary, we return to an album that feels less like a recording and more like an invocation - a mixology of soul, jazz, reggae, hip-hop, and spiritual truth.
Hans Zimmer was a member of The Buggles. He would later go on to become one of the most influential film composers of modern cinema, earning multiple awards, including Academy Awards for The Lion King (1994) and Dune (2021). For David Bowie, sound and vision fueled a spirit forever in motion. To unpack the many faces of David Bowie is to dive deep into a world of creative wonder and reinvention across every art form.
Frida Kahlo entered this world under the veil of diamond dust as a Leo Rising – the archetype of the performer, the creator, the radiant flame. She dressed in colour, she painted in pain, and she lived as if every step was a defiant dance. Guest astrologer and author, Kylie Jane.
Guided by her own artistic muse, Kate Bush is known for her originality, fierce independence, and a legacy rooted in deeply imaginative storytelling. Her work suggests that the muse is not a fixed entity, but something fluid, slippery, even chameleon-like not to be grasped, but to pass through the artist.
For Jeff Buckley, the muse seemed to arrive clothed in grace; a thread woven seamlessly through his voice, his presence, and his art.

Up, Up, and… What?! The Wild Flight of Larry Walters
In 1982, Larry Walters tied 42 helium balloons to a lawn chair, packed a six-pack of beer, a sandwich, and a pellet gun—and took off. No pilot’s license. No real flight plan. Just a dream and a daring sense of curiosity.
