Improvisation

A State of Trust

As we become familiar with engaging with the unknown space, we learn how to step out of our comfort zone. Realising through our own creative experience that mistakes are not our enemy, we learn how to make a mess through art and with new eyes see the beauty in that too.

Allowing little subtleties to surface, mysterious happenings to fall on paper, and energetic charges to move the brush. Diving in wholeheartedly with complete sincerity and commitment. These moments let go of what should be and invite in a higher energy to reveal a deeper truth.

These are the creative ‘aha’ moments, those that cause an energetic stirring because a connection has been made, arising from a state of love, trust and emptying, allowing space for divine grace.

“There is never any end. There are always new sounds
to imagine; new feelings to get at.” — John Coltrane
