The Alchemist
Post art school, it was time to deconstruct the human figure and rebuild it as a decorative, fantastical creature. Between the beautiful and the strange, playful beings emerged somewhere between creature, character and body. As the paintings developed, anatomy began to morph, stretch and merge with ornamental forms, creating imaginary worlds populated by figures that were neither entirely human nor entirely other.
