Star plants, gold paper coins, coral vases, stars, flowers, confetti cup, tentacles and so much more is created in the wonderful and fantastical paper sculpture world of artist, Leesa Maree. Hours and hours of mindful making helps the artist to slow down and lose herself in the intricate details of paper making with a focus on botanical/aquatic worlds - an elemental curiosity.
Each piece as a whole is made up of many different elements that makes for delicate work in honour of our natural environment. All paper materials were collected from recycled artwork, old books and repurposed to bring this paper sculpture work to life.
